The politicians have always known they are legally obliged to pay compensation to people they label adopted, because vulnerable children have always been legally entitled to automatically age out of all care arrangements, including draconian adoption legislation, at adulthood.
The draconian adoption legislation clearly involves a false imprisonment by the state.
It is not sustainable for politicians to legally claim I cannot make my own decisions as an adult about my own identity without first having had to return to Australia, and pay money to and have the permission of a court.
The politicians would always punish without law… anyone they had labelled adopted as a vulnerable child who refused to comply with draconian adoption legislation including as an adult, even if the person did not seek compensation because politicians know that their lying to and treating adopted people differently to other people who automatically age out of care arrangements at adulthood does legally and more generally attract compensation.
The politicians and press who are complicit because they financially benefit from government/s buying advertising with their organisation, persist in what are essentially ‘advertorials’ about adoption. The likes of the Guardian who pose as a multinational news organisation are while pontificating about adoption in Australia, tone deaf about the reality of adoptions involving changing nationalities and citizenships that proposed further radical changes to ‘birth certificates’ pretty much bypass, along with the fact people an adopted person should never be forced to first return to Australia, to pay money to and have the permission of a court to use our own identity etc.
There are only excuses, of which adoption has been used as one, as to why out of home care arrangements more generally have not dramatically improved, as they should have.
The widespread use of draconian adoption legislation that could only happen because there is no International Civil Court with juries, highlights precisely why there should be an International Civil Court with the choice of juries, that could be based in Jerusalem.
A kinder evolution is possible.
This statement is true,
